The Luminescece Sensor detects with a receiver filter all luminescent markings which emit light within a wavelength range from 420-750 nm. With another receiver filter suppresses especially interfering whiteners. The sensors have a very small spot, and use a UV LED with a very long service life.

Luminescent Substances
Luminescent substances can be applied to almost anything (e. g. labels and cartons), and can be added to many substances such as ink, oil and grease. The use of an optical filter makes it possible to select which wavelength range (i. e. which color) will be visible to the sensor.

Adjustments
Adjustments are performed via Teach-In keys at the sensor or the external Teach-In input. Also with a potentiometer or via the RS-232 interface configurations are possible.

Interface
Sensor functions can be activated via the RS-232 interface. Additionally the Light Intensity can be read out.
