Wenglor Ultrasonic Sensors evaluate the sound reflected by the object. They detect almost every object and are suited especially for the filling level monitoring of fluids or bulk material or the detection of transparent objects. The sensor detects objects independent from their material, aggregate state, color or transparency. Via the IO-Link interface a comfortable parameterization and fast diagnosis is possible.

Settings
UMD
Configuration is made via Teach-In, externally or via the IO-Link interface.

UMF
Configuration is made via Teach-In and 4-digit 7-segment display, externally or via the IO-Link interface.

UMS
Configuration is made via Teach-In and OLED-Display, externally or via the IO-Link interface.

Synchronous Mode
In the synchronous mode all synchronised sensors send out their ultrasonic impulses at the same time. The synchronised sensors are acting like a sensor with an enhanced scanning range.

Multiplex Mode
In the multiplex mode the sensors are runned in turn, so that parallel sensors can not manipulate each other. Here each sensor works independent.

Interface
Via the IO-Link interface a comfortable parameterization and fast diagnosis is possible. The output data is also available.
